Ready for Work Card

Ready for Work

For a young person with limited access to education, training or employment opportunities, finding secure work can feel almost impossible. Without the chance to develop practical skills or gain experience, they may struggle to earn an income and build the future they want.

Vocational training, mentoring, and practical skills development can help change that. With the right support, a young person can grow in confidence, prepare for employment and gain the tools to support themselves and their family. Earning an income can bring more than financial security; it can offer independence, dignity and the freedom to make choices about their future.

This gift is part of ChildFund New Zealand’s wider youth livelihoods work.

Your support could help young people access the training, guidance and opportunities they need to pursue meaningful work and fulfil their potential.
