Herd of Goats Card

For a family living with poverty or an unpredictable income, a herd of goats can be the beginning of something much bigger. It can mean nourishing milk for children, money for school supplies and healthcare, and greater confidence that there will be enough when tomorrow comes.

Goats can produce offspring, allowing families to gradually grow their herd and create a reliable source of income. With practical training and support, parents can build a livelihood that helps them provide for their children well into the future.

This gift is part of ChildFund New Zealand’s wider livelihoods work.

Your support could help families access livestock, training and practical resources that enable them to earn an income, meet their children’s needs and build a more secure and independent future.
