Goat Card

Goat

A goat may seem like a simple gift, but for a child and their family, it can open the door to something much bigger. The milk it provides can add valuable nutrition to a child’s diet, while its offspring can help a family gradually grow their resources.

With practical training and support, parents can use livestock to earn an income and better meet their children’s needs. Over time, one goat could help pay for school supplies, healthcare and nutritious food, giving a child greater security and more opportunities for the future.

This gift is part of ChildFund New Zealand’s wider livelihoods work.

Your support could help families access livestock, training and practical resources, enabling them to build a more reliable source of food and income—and give their children the chance to grow, learn and thrive.
