Flock of Chickens Card

Flock of Chickens - 24 chickens

For a family facing poverty, providing children with nourishing food while finding money for school or healthcare can be a daily struggle.

A flock of chickens can provide protein-rich eggs for children to eat, while surplus eggs and new chicks can be sold. As the flock grows, so can the family’s income, helping parents give their children greater security and more opportunities for the future.

This gift is part of ChildFund New Zealand’s wider livelihoods and nutrition work.

Your support could help families access chickens, training and practical resources that allow a small enterprise to grow into a more secure future.
