Garden Seeds and Tools

Garden Tools and Seeds

For a child, a thriving family garden can mean fresh, nutritious food on their plate and greater security at home. With the right tools, seeds and knowledge, families can grow fruit and vegetables that help children stay healthy, strong, and ready to learn.

Surplus produce can also be sold within the community, giving parents an income to help pay for school supplies, healthcare, and other everyday needs. What begins as a handful of seeds can grow into nourishment, independence, and new opportunities for the whole family.

This gift is part of ChildFund New Zealand’s wider nutrition and livelihoods work.

Your support could help families access practical resources and training, giving children better nutrition today and a more secure future tomorrow.
