A war zone is no place for a child to grow up. Seeing your family and friends torn apart by violence is hard to understand for anyone, let alone a vulnerable child.

It’s been a few weeks since the Russian invasion of Ukraine, and we’re still getting daily reports of children and families fleeing the only home they’ve ever known. Many of them are displaced in their own country, where bombs and tanks take away all sense of safety and security.

There are millions of people who have crossed the border into neighbouring countries, and millions more who are desperate for refuge.
