ChildFund Ethiopia urgently needs $50,000 to help children affected by armed conflict

It's been an entire year since armed conflict erupted in the Tigray region of Ethiopia. In recent months, the deadly conflicts have intensified into other regions of the country, leading the Ethiopian federal government to declare a nationwide state of emergency

In order to respond to this crisis, ChildFund and our local partners are requesting $50,000 USD to assist with the following:

  • Food and non-food items like blankets, mattresses, clothes and items for cooking, washing, drinking and collecting water.
  • Sanitary materials such as sanitary pads and soap for women and girls.
  • Water treatment chemicals and water collecting materials are critically needed. and
  • Items to reduce the spread of COVID-19 and other communicable diseases.
